Well I kinda do lots of things, I work on the sound equipment, I'm a leader for Awana, and my Pastor's unofficial gopher.
Saved by the Blood of the Crucified One!

Our church is new (2 years old, but that's ok- I'm only 1 in Christ), so it's small. It's very geared towards outreach, and half of our members are people from local homeless shelters and inmates (our pastor doubles as a local detective, and therefore can bring them). I participate by helping with the children's church every Sunday, going on outreach missions (once a week we take the Word to the streets in various cities) , and doing anything else that they ask of me. I'm truly blessed to be a part of such a Godly ministry.

I play the organ and teach the hymns to the two choirs (junior and senior). And I have to pray in public from time to time (I don't like that - it scares me!). I am on the Church Council (I worship at a Methodist congregation), and the District Council - somebody seems to think that I am a good politician.
And I am also learning Farsi - the language spoken in Iran - because we have an Iranian-speaking congregation (for whom I supply the music too).
Actually, it's not just prayer that scares me - it's all of it! The power of God in Christ Crucified, the overwhelming force of God in Christ Risen, the totally engulfing grace of God in the Spirit announced by Christ Exalted - these all make me realise that you simply cannot win any argument against Him, and that He has the larger army, and He (and only He) can show the real, true Way. And this is humbling.
The older I get, the more I seem to know: what this actually means is that the older I get, the more I realise I do not know, and will never know, and can never know, and can never understand - but that in Christ, all can be understood and centered.
